You may be interested to know that Illingworth Ingham (M/cr) Ltd is a leading supplier of Keruing in the UK. Keruing has been added to our product range following the acquisition of Roger Haydock five years ago, which resulted in many customers continuing to purchase Keruing through Illingworth Ingham (M/cr) Ltd. Keruing is mainly used for trailer decking, industrial flooring, piers and marinas.

Keruing is usually chosen for this type of use due to its load bearing strength, its hardness and durability and its relatively low cost.

Keruing is a South East Asian hardwood and generally compares with teak in most strength categories, but it is a little stiffer, and about 40 per cent more resistant to shock load.

At Illingworth Ingham M/cr Ltd we are able to supply rough sawn Keruing or machined to a specific profile. We have a number of popular profiles, shown left, but we can also create a bespoke profile.
